20ft High cube bespoke exhibition conversion

Breakdown of the Project

We were approached from a local company on a recommendation, who had an urgent requirement for an exhibition stand that was to be used for promoting the city centre and bring visitors up to speed with the local plans. 

This was exhibited in the North-East at one of the UK’s largest air show events. 

The client initially contacted us via email with a large selection of images of previous shipping container conversions that were of interest, and we then put our heads together with our design team to come up with a bespoke design that ticked all the boxes, as well as being do able on a strict 5-week lead time. 

Conversion breakdown

• 20ft new high cube shipping container with a drop-down side wall to form a decking area. The drop-down side can be lifted back into position when not in use. 
• Large bi-fold opening doors along one side with black powder coated aluminium framework, and an electric awning that covers over the decking. 
• Internally the unit was fully lined & insulated, fitted with laminate flooring and electrics to include stainless steel sockets, spotlighting, TV unit & heating. 
• An additional window w/ electric roller shutter & a personnel door were fitted so unit can be multi-purpose if drop down side not required to be in operation. 
• Externally we fitted a staircase and railings around the top of the unit complete with decking on the roof so the area can be used for additional seating area/ viewing platform. 
• The unit was finished in clients specified RAL colour. 

We managed to get the unit fabricated in a short 5-week lead time, which although was challenging at times, was very rewarding to see the end result! 

Our customer was very pleased with the unit and I understand it attracted a lot of attention from their visitors also.
