20ft Container Converted for Workshop

Breakdown of the Project

20ft x 8ft x 8ft 6″ new ‘one trip’ shipping container converted into a small basic workshop facility for a client based in Great Yarmouth.

We supplied and fitted a steel workbench & 6″ vice. A steel ramp was built as our client has cages that they needed to load unload, which needed to get over the 4″ step into the container double doors. The unit was finished externally in the clients red corporate colours.

We have supplied many workshop containers since 2000 – we can add personnel doors, shelving, electrics, welding booths etc. Feel free to contact us with your requirements.

Conversion breakdown

• 20ft new ‘one trip’ shipping container – 20ft x 8ft x 8ft 6”.
• steel 10-point personnel door – aperture dressed with box section.
• 8ft workbench fabricated from 50mm box section.
  • 6-inch vice was attached to the workbench.
  • Workbench was not attached on customers request.
• Fabricated chequer plate ramp for loading and unloading purpose built.
• Externally the container was painted to customers’ requests – RAL3020.
